THE ITINERARY (05 DAYS)
Day 01 : Manali - Kothi - Gulaba (3200 Mtrs) 1 Hrs. by drive
Morning arrive in Manali Volvo bus stand meet our trek guide and we will welcome/ transfer you form trekking in himachal with Yash Expedition Pvt ltd. For brigu lake trek for 4 nights in the frosty Himalayan ranges and the lush alpine wilderness. The peaceful atmosphere and scenic beauty of Gulaba make it a haven for poets, writers, painters, and anyone who wishes to commune with nature. Below Kothi, the gurgling Beas River flows for more than a kilometer through a deep gorge and the cliffs that flank both sides of the canyon attract a great number of rock pigeons. We camp at Gulaba theli.
Day 02: Gulaba – Raudi Khodi
We trek through dense forest of Deodar, and Fir. Gradually walking through forest we cross Thach ( pasture ) of Khanora. Overlooking at Solang, Kothi below and Hanuman Tibba plus numbers of birds can be spotted, out of all spectacular is Monal pheasant. Finally we arrive at Siyander thach or Raudi Khodi. Which is also a nice campsite.
Day 03: Trek to Brigue Lake (4,270 Mts.) Pandu Ropa (3,700) (5 – 6 Hrs.)
Initially Gradual but steep in the last push to the Bhrigu Lake with great religious importance to local folks. This place provides you, the magnificent 360 degrees view as series of mountain ranges stretch in front of you including Dhauladhar, pir panjal, Chandra Bhaga Range and distant Spiti Range. Further Gradual, ascent to the Pandu Ropa. The name is derived from a legend that the Pandavas of Mahabharata cultivated rice fields here. From here one can enjoy the breathtaking view of two famous summits of Manali (Deo Tibba and Inderaasan). Further to east lie the desolate range of Spiti and Kinnaur. Camp at Pandu Ropa.
Day 04: Pandu Ropa – Manali via Vashisht (05 Hrs.) via Vashisht
Steep descent through the Himalayan deciduous forest of to the Village of Vashisht. Vashisht is famous for the sulpher hot springs. One can take the fatigue out by taking bath and then (10 Minutes) drive to Manali.
Day 05: Vashisht - Volvo Bus Stand
Morning you are free for relax in sulpher hot water spring and after noon drop you at bus stand.
The Beas Valley is surrounded by the mighty Himalayan Ranges of Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar. The terrain above the tree line from 2900 Mts. up to the 4500 Mts., constitutes of the widely extended alpine meadows with the high snow clad summits dominating the background. These meadows houses numerous sacred mountain lakes, which according to the local legends are abode to the mountain Gods and holds a great religious and cultural significance among the local traditional mountain folks. Bhrigu Lake trek provides an opportunity to visit one such lake
